Vintage/Antique Hunting in Martinez

Haven’t blogged in a while – 2018 has been not-so-great in many ways, but let’s leave that aside for now. Today, I’ll share a few snaps from Martinez, California.

If you’re in the Bay Area (or passing by sometime soon), head on over to the small town where you’ll find a treasure trove of goodies at Bad Girl’s Antiques. They’ve got a bunch of vintage costume jewelry and stuff that reminds you of decades past.

They have a particularly wonderful collection of costume jewelry – a ton of it – you have to spend time looking at all the shelves with an eagle eye, but I always find something! I picked up some lovely Trifari (earrings + necklace) while I was there, and some other retro earrings (clip ons! woot!).

Extra points because there’s an ice cream/candy shop across the street that doesn’t skimp on the scoop size 😉
